Road Map for Green Hydrogen - First face-to-face meeting in Gambia

In early September, after numerous online events, meetings and workshops, the first face-to-face meeting of the H2 Atlas project stakeholders finally took place. The main purpose of the meeting was to consolidate the cooperation agreement and to discuss the next steps.

The participants agreed that the political representatives of the 15 West African countries should be more closely involved in the future. In this way, the topic of green hydrogen should be perceived as an important issue in local politics. In addition, domestic and foreign industrial interest groups should also be involved. Central to the success of the project is not only to collect safe data, but above all to build infrastructure, which can only succeed with industrial partners.
