Dr. Wilhelm Kuckshinrichs, holds a PhD in Political Economy from Oldenburg University. His current position is Deputy Head ‘Systems Analysis and Technology Evaluation (IEK-STE)’ at Institute of Energy and Climate Research, Forschungszentrum Juelich, Germany. He is also group Leader “Energy Economy” at IEK-STE. His research focuses on energy economics, energy scenario generation, assessment of innovation processes, natural resource and environmental economics, sustainability assessment of technologies and systems. He is Spokesman of topic 3 in Helmholtz program ‘Technology, Innovation, Society’ and in Helmholtz project ‘Energy Systems Integration’.
