Dr. Bagher Bayat, a postdoctoral research scientist at IBG-3. His main research interests are quantitative remote sensing of land surface properties and processes. He is interested in radiative transfer and energy budgets of vegetation, satellite monitoring of ecosystem functioning (e.g., photosynthesis and evapotranspiration), heat and water stress detection, and remote sensing applications in hydrology and water resources.
