Virtual Green Hydrogen Regional Data Validation Workshop

From the second to the fifth of August, representatives of the Southern African Science Service Centre for Climate Change and Adaptive Land Management (SASSCAL) met with colleagues for a virtual workshop. Dr. Jane Olwoch, Executive Director of SASSCAL, opened the event, which focused on sharing and assessing the collected data.

During the workshop, the 16-member Southern Africa Regional Technical Committee (SA-RTC) was given the opportunity to assess, review, and validate the bulk of the data collected at the national level. Sixty scientists and engineers had previously compiled the data needed for this purpose over the past ten months. In total, the twelve SADC countries are involved, and the information collected comes from them.
