Dr. Kouakou Valentin Koffi
West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use (WASCAL)

Since 2017, Dr. Kouakou Valentin Koffi holds a PhD in Climate Change and Water Resources from the University of Abomey-Calavi, Benin, obtained within the framework of the WASCAL Programme, www.wascal.org, in which he was the representative of Côte d'Ivoire. He also holds a Masters in Water and Environmental Engineering, obtained in 2011 at the International Institute for Water and Environmental Engineering (2iE), in Burkina Faso. He has worked as a consultant in several projects in West Africa. His research interests include Water Resources Management, Natural Resources Management, Water Sanitation and Hygiene, and Climate Change.  From June 2020 till January 2021, he has worked as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at the WASCAL Graduate Studies Programme on Climate Change and Biodiversity, in Côte d’Ivoire, in the H2 Power-Africa project funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF). Since February 2021, Dr. Koffi is working as a Post-Doc Fellow in Natural Resources in the H2 Atlas-Africa Project.
